They also spend more of their time of the day in trees to feed on fruits and leaves, escape predators, and build sleeping nests every single night. As such, the chimp experience that you choose will determine where you might see them. Depending on season, the southern plains in Jan to March host wildebeest calving. The central valley offers year-round game viewing with resident wildlife and spectacular rock kopjes. The western is relatively secluded and private. The northern is where the Mara river crossings happen between July to October.
